Rock Formations

A country of which the most distinctive characteristic is nature, and tourism is among the best-developed branches of economy, Bulgaria offers incredible views, an essential part of which are its magnificent rock formations. The big and smaller rivers and mountain springs that flow through mountainous terrains have formed rocky forms of immense beauty. Many of Bulgaria’s famous rock landscapes are located in its major mountains, namely the Balkan Range area and the Rhodopi Mountain.
